RRoD (Red Ring of Death) has already cost Microsoft billions of dollars. All 360s have a limited warranty of one year. If you get RRoD however, they will service your console for three years. This isn't such a big deal with the newer Falcon models which had failure rates of less than 10% and the even newer Jasper models are probably more reliable.
