bai! nag duwa ko crysis last night when suddenly ni kalit ug appear murag "checkered" pattern sa screen. wala man ni hung up ang game or ang PC, pero wala ko makita except checkered patterns unya sounds sa game. ako gibihut ako gi alt+tab pag balik sa windows, normal ra ba ya nawala ang pattern. pag balik nako sa game, na OK na man pud. ako lang gi exit balik kay gi kulbaan ko.hehehe
na unsa diay to siya?

hehe di sad uy grabe pud anang cape. wala na siya na pattern before. actually na human na nako ang game gi replay lang nako (nice man gud ang game). never seen that before.

hmmm... sometimes maka encounter sad kog inana btaw bai... dli na virus kaha? kai b4 na fckdup ko PC sugod ug inana ni worst kadugaian ni daghan ang badlis2x ba! after na sudlan jud kog thousands hehehe... but d ko sure bai ug prehas tag sitwasyon... dli cguro na imu, wala rana... hehehe... mao toy storya sakong pc nga luoy...

*update: nag search ko sa net regarding ani, "checkered artifacts" diay tawag ani. most likely, ni overheat ang video card and ang result kay checkered display. same sad ni na issue for xbox360 before mag RROD.
looks like ako card na stressed out sa pagduwa sa crysis. kalimot ko ug mention, ako diay gi raise ang resolution from 1024 x 768 to 1280 x 720. kay ako display nag switch ko from CRT to LCD display. chubby man gud tan-awon si psycho sa LCD with 1024 x 768 na resolution so ako gi switch ug higher res.

that's what we call video card artifacting. its when your video card fails to render textures and stuff. usually happens if your video card reaches unsafe temperatures.
usual things that happen in artifacting is like that, checkered walls, missing walls, missing textures and alike.
you better get some cooling for your videocard. it solves most of the artifacting issues of videocards though
