Is it safe to buy SURPLUS computer parts? Tips on how to check If items are in good condition?

buy parts with warranty, test first before buying, ask seller kung ma hangyo ang presyo pud

ask jud warranty / personal warranty.... during that warranty period given to you, use those parts you bought as much as possible... run tests on it if possible:

1. processor - sisoft sandra, orthos
2. ram - memtest86+
3. video card - run games
4. harddisk - run respective diagnostics, example if you have seagate use seatools (download from their website)

I dont recommend buying/using surplus computer parts its just a mess. Why? out of 10 there is only 1-2% is working unit/parts that would last longer kay ginamit na baya na then of course we dont know unsa na ug gamit sa recent user ana.

IF you would buy surplus you are just wasting your money. Thats my opinion better save money to buy brand new naa pa cgurado nga warranty.

^ there are surplus computer parts that are reliable pareha anang network card, sound card, etc. pero kung major components na like mobo, proc, i'd rather buy a used one (at least kabalo ka nga ga work pa) kaysa surplus nga gilad-lad lang ang computer parts mura ug isda.

IMAO, better buy second hand sa buy and sell, where you can meet up with the seller.. you can contact him/her anytime, at least, you have the number.. and ask first for personal warranty..

I think, those SURPLUS computers/components didn't pass some Quality Assurance by a certain company, and sell it out to whoever wants it or needs it.. aron pud di mapurdoy ang usa ka companya...

wla na ayu surplus kai wla ka kahibalo sa history sa pc parts kon bun na kaayu ang paggamit maayu pa dre sa istorya buy and sell kai maka assure ka maayu ang items imo gpalit..

mao gyud.. kaning mga surplus store pataka lang ug presyo usahay mas mahal pa sa brandnew..
