How does one hide behind proxies?
It may come in handy sometimes....

to give you an idea:
YOU ----> PROXY ----> INTERNET
YOU = IP Address A
PROXY = IP Address B
Whatever you open via Proxy, your IP (IP Address A) will not be logged in the servers but the IP of the proxy (IP Address B)
It's quite convenient sometimes especially if some web services apply only to a certain geographical locations.
