    Default US Embassy contact info

I don't know asa ni suitable mga boss, mao diri na lang nako gibutang.

Mga pips, i badly need help for the contact number of US embassy manila Non-immigrant Visa (NIV) division. Sige nako tawag sa ilang mga numbers na makita sa websites pero puro machine ang motubag then dili magkadimao.

    Mao man gud ni scenario,
Na ko migo nga naaprove na iyang visa kaso naay sayop ug spelling sa annotation part. Then sa ilang website mao ni nakasuwat:

    ERRORS ON PRINTED VISAS

It is your responsibility to check the information printed on the visa upon its receipt to ensure accuracy of the data. Biographic information on the visa should match the information found on the passport biographic page. Discrepancies on the visa must be corrected prior to use.

    ERROR(S) ON VISA ISSUANCE

For errors such as the following:

    • Incorrect visa classification
    • Misspelled name(s)
    • Incorrect date of birth, gender or nationality

Please send a text message to Delbros Text Hotline (0917) 622-1949 to make arrangements for the collection of your passport with visa for correction. Include a letter that clearly states the error. The Nonimmigrant Visa Unit shall determine the legitimacy of all visa correction requests.

Ang problema man gud is dili man sa biographic information ang sayop but sa annotation. We contacted Delbros but they said to contact the embassy if ang delbros ba since ang ila daw agreement is for 221g ra man and not for errors. Then mao to nitawag mi sa tanan number nga makita sa internet pero puro voice prompt then walay maistorya na tawo.

    Pls help guys.

Bro, unsay pasabot nimo sa Annotation? Exactly unsa nga info ang nasayop?

I think base sa info gibutang sa embassy, any kind of error would go to the same process, i-explain lang sa letter unsa ang sayop.

do you have a valid US visa sir? If so, you'll know what annotation is.

If basihan ang info, it only talks about biographic errors.

    Who else has any idea?

As a matter of fact, I do have a US Visa.

Annotation part is the description of the Visa classification. Ang sayop sa iyang visa is sayop ang name sa iyang mama wherein naka state didto nga dependent siya sa iyang mama. But, that detail can't be found in the biographic page of the passport. Mao na ang problema.

Actually the annotation part contains info of the petitioner of the visa and the receipt number of the I797 Notice of Action document of the petition issued by the USCIS.
Ask your friend to look at his I797 tanawa kung nasayop ba pud ang name sa iyang mama, most likely gikopya ra sa embassy unsa ang nakasulat sa I797.
I think the critical infos are the biographic ones.
And maybe the receipt number on the annotation.
I wouldn't worry about the name under the annotation, specially kung misspell lang.

Mao ni ask ko bro unsa imo pasabot sa annotation para mahibaw-an ug unsa exactly ang sayop para maka suggest and tabang ta ug tarong.
Imo man nuon pilosopohon ug tubag.

    ah ok.

Sir wa ko manopo nimo. Sorry if maoy imong nafeel. Nangutana lang ko nimo if you have a non-immigrant visa since niask ka unsay annotation.

By the way, salamat kaayo sa imong comment. It helps a lot.

Wala man siya I797, DS-2019 iyaha. Kulang jud ang letra sa name sa iyang mama sa visa compared sa DS-2019. Mura'g typographical error since wala naanad sa name ba. Ang real name sa iyang mama is joycelyn, mao sad sa DS-2019, while nakasulat sa visa is jocelyn. Sa lettery "y" ra jud nakulang.

    Way blema bro.
So i take it that your friend's mom has a J visa?
And him being the child, qualifies him as a a dependent of the principal J1 visa holder.

Kung ang delbros mismo nibalibad bro and you have exhausted all efforts para ma correct ang mistake, then wala jud tay mabuhat.
Personal opinion lang ni, not a legal advice, but i would tell your friend not to worry too much about it.
If its a biographical info error sa visa, then it needs to be corrected jud, pero if under annotation lang, and being a misspell, he shouldn't worry too much about it.
Murag reference info lang man na. Ang importante, ang iyahang personal info ang sakto.

Suggestion, contact delbros and say naay error sa visa, don't tell delbros nga sa annotation na part nasayop, so they'll treat it as a regular mistake. pero explain on the letter exactly what the error is.

Lisod jud i-contact ana ilang mga contact numbers and expect to talk to a live person.
Imagine if they do that, pirting daghana manawag asking basic questions when you can find it sa ilang website, so they'd rather have a recorded message to take the calls.

    Goodluck bro!
