Default USC ReEd Teacher forces me to sign against RH Bill

Just this morning I was walking along the USC (Main) hallway.. and this guy I know from the ReEd department (his family name is Duzon) walks up in front of me and goes like, "Hali ka.. sign ka dito". It was a list of names and signatures of people who were "against" the Reproductive Health Bill. Personally, I'm not against this bill because I think it is good for all of us. But to avoid serious confrontation, arguments, and whatever from a goddamn religion teacher, ni-sign nalang ko because he really did WANT me to sign it. Pinugos na kaayo sa iyang tone bitaw..

So this is USC's dirty trick to abolish the Reproductive Health Bill? Pangita mo ug inyohang supporters oi.. ayaw mo pamalit or pamugos.

If you read my post earlier, he did force me to sign.. and also the other people who walked past him. "Sign ka dito.. sige na". If you were in our situation it was hard to refuse, knowing he was one of USC's faculty.

Being a religion teacher won't justify that he can force you to sign. You have and know your rights, you should have said no. He's just a teacher after all, he can't control you.

I agree with those previous sentiments like junmar4's~ How did Mr. Duzon "force" you? Did he put a gun to your head? Did he threaten to report you? (on what grounds, on what basis?) or threaten to degrade you?

Just basing on your testimony, you actually signed it be it would be CONVENIENT for you to just sign the form rather than stand up for your convictions there and then.

Plus, MORE CONVENIENT for you NOW to gripe about it HERE where you're basically ANONYMOUS possibly because to make yourself feel better on what you failed to do in actuality.

What that ReEd Teacher did was inappropriate, but your action was also not any better.

Bisag pa-pinugos pa ang TONO~ TONO ra na bitaw, makamatay ba ang tono?

It's not even good for you to have included Mr. Duzon's name here coz one-sided ra imo statement and it's unfair to him. He will not be able to say his side here, unless he is also a fellow istoryan and be able to read this thread. You are painting a dark picture of a REEd teacher, who deserves to have respect for his stand, in the same way that I would respect your stand.
