NEED HELP FROM NETWORK ENGR'S/EXPERTS: VPN related

Hey guys,

i reli having a big prob with my work here. i reli need ur help guys..

scenario:
"naa koy existing nga router gkan provider which is wireless G ADSL2 + modem/router. ako e connect ako new nga router ang allied telesis AR415S secure modular router para VPN connection. na connect nako ang duha ka router dayun PC. ang problem is dili man ma ping ang AR415S. second problem is unzay tima-ilhan nga naka VPN na ako network??"

Hi Homer,

Prolink wireless G ADSL2 + modem/router is not compatible for VPN router just like what are you using right now the allied telesis AR415S secure modular router. Try to bridge the Prolink to your allied router. If still doesnt work go to your provider ask them to downgrade their Prolink wireless G ADSL2 + modem/router into simple DSL modem only so that you can set up a VPN to your network.

kong ganahan ka vpn, e configure ug public ip ang AR415S. nya ang imo prolink ebridge mode. meaning modem nlang sya, ayaw ipa router
