Who is experiencing this issue with Nvidia 8-series video cards?
when you go to standby and resume, the PC wakes up but locks up.. quite annoying.. have to reset.
used 3 versions of the drivers but to no avail.. i kept most recent one ForceWare 177.something...
now this does not happen when i use my built-in video (7-series).
anyone has a known fix or workaround? tnx

i think this is known driver issue..

try the 175.19 whql version nvidia driver.

My 8500GT seems perfect...got no prob so far, I got an ASUS EN8500GT dd2.
