ask a relative in the USA to buy for you....
shipping would be so high... if shipped to cebu city
like what ajol said.. if naa ka kaila mo uli or unsa mas maayo kung pa da nalang.. preferably hand carried with care.. as in super care.. to the max..
buy locally nalang
or naa man to ga offer ug nikon d60 or canon 450d.... from japan....
Yes, much better pa if you buy locally.
Gamay ra man ang difference.
Canon 450D in bhphoto.com is $699.00, that is P32,200.00.
I don't know how to compute for the shipping but it would estimate to 2,500 to 3,000.
So the price difference would not matter very much. Plus when you buy outside the Philippines, it would be hard to use the warranty. Most local sellers have some sort of warranty in case the camera fails.
It's best to buy online only when the local sellers does not supply the item that you want.
with todays US$ to Peso exchange rate it may not be worth it to buy from the US. I buy from bhphoto regularly and its on big ticket items thats worth importing. Sent you a PM on how to do it. But you have to check first the cost and compare it to local items with warranty, it may not be worth it. As far as i know only canon lenses are covered with international warranty, bodies are not covered... i dont know with nikon![]()
Benj_B,
you can purchase online which has no 6% tax, it saves your relatives time, you can have it delivered to their address in the US and billing to you. in BH you can compute for the shipping cost, this will go as high as $100 depends on the item. you can simulate this thru their online store an compare local prices plus your waiting time for the items. price deference with current dollar rate is between 2,800-4,000. for nikon items you can add a little to get the 5 year international warranty. good luck
canon units mo recommend ko buy it nalang locally since we have service center here..
