    Default Modding qstn: Battery powered molex connector

    Im planning on making a battery powered molex plug to be used with a thermaltake 6000rpm fan.
    Kana ganing 4-pin connector to power the PC fans and disc drives, pero i will be using 2 2000 mAh AA rechargeable batteries.

    my questions:
    1. Will it work? Makaya kaha sa battery ang load? Can it fully power the fan for a few minutes?
    2. If so, mga pila kaha ka minutes before ma-drain ang fully charged set of AAs(2)?
    3. How do i do it? I imagine ang yellow(+12V) siguro ang line nga iconnect sa battery, pero beyond that wala na ko kabaw unsaon, series ba o parallel o unsa na? And unsa gamit sa other 3 wires? 2 blacks( ground) 1 red(+5V). Nag search ko pero wala man ani nga particular mod.
    4. What other materials do i need?
    5. Is there an easier way to do this, nga dili mugasto?

    By the way ang purpose diay ani kay para vacuum out sa heat inside my console in the event nga mag brownout, so i only really need a few minutes out of it(5-10mins). I know pwede maggamit og UPS but mahalan ra ko para sa akong purpose.

    Sorry di man gud ko familiar sa computations and sa physical aspect sa modding ani, mayta naay electrician or modder nga maka help. Thanks istorya!

    ohm's law bai..

    Voltage=Current*Resistance..

    Power=Current*Voltage

    you need a 12v supply.. (2)AA are equivalent to 3V.. so it's 12v/1.5 = number of AA batts nga kailangan in series connection para m.On imo fan..

    Dli praktikal nga design sa imo fan kung mo last lang ang 2AA batteries for just a few minutes.

    aw, mas complicated pa diay ni kaysa ako initial nga gihuna2x?! hehe sorry noob kaayo. Anyway salamat kaayo!

    Pwede kaha kadtong box nga battery, i think 9V man siguro to? plus 2 AAs = 12V? simple arithmetic ra ba ni or naa pa lain iconsider? Maluoy tawn mo pag high school pa tawn ko nag ohm's law nag crash course ko ron sa wikipedia pero nosebleed!

    OT: update unya ani bro ha if you are successful

    9v batt + (2) 1.5v is equal to 12v in series connection.. pde ra.. if you need compact design.. but be sure to use same amperage batts..

    sayon rman ni bai.. hehe! n_n, just simple computations via ohm's law..
