Telephoto lens

I'm looking for a telephoto lens but on a tight budget...what do you think of the Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG MACRO? And is this compatible with Canon 450D? Can you give other suggestions? Thanks.

yes its compatible as long as you'll buy the EF mount (for Canon) version.

How about the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS? It had received very good reviews in fredmiranda.com

depende sa imong budget.. pero sa consumer lens at its price point (8k - 18k).. mura wa may makapildi aning Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG MACRO kung sharpness hisgutan.

problem lang jud ani kay useless na kung lowlight. pero kumbati ni kung udtong dako

if tight you budget bai..y not try ang canon 55-250 IS.. mao na akong tele lens now..and sharpness wise it can deliver man sad...sweet spot sa lens is 100 - 200mm... it is priced at 12K..

yup it is an alternative...dream lens nku is d 70-200 f/2.8L lS USM lens but medyo out of dis world pa for my bank account ang price..hehehe..naa paku pang.bayran nga utang..hehehe..but in the future basin diay..

kaya stick muna me sa 55-250 IS kay hapit na fiesta samu lugar sa iligan city mao need ko tele lens pra dili mabitin sa mga pg.kuha og mga subject nga dili pwede ma.duul..

70-200 f4L if can increase your budget... way big difference in quality... 70-300's and 55-200's are crappy...
