I have an Ubuntu box hosting 2 printers shared using SAMBA with other Linux(Puppy) and Windows(XP) boxes. No big deal really. A matter of clicking on the right places.
mao ba bro....ako opensuse ako g test..installed the printer locally..and can print on it..pero if i install on the network throgh a windws client i can see the printer and actually connect but when i print or test print ..nothing comes out or an error cannot print prompts
thanks bro
Giunsa man nimo pag-install bro?
Please tan awa pod ang Printer device URL, it should be smb://WORKGROUP/nameofsusepc/Printer. Ug walay problema sa imong SUSE machine, this is automatically made when you install the printer driver in your Windows boxes. Pero check lang ghapon just in case.
bro mkita nako form a windows machine ako shares and printer....there nno problem with network and samba..just cant print lng gyud from a windows machine to my susebux....
