Hello, my sister's PC got into trouble after restarting her PC. When restarted, it performs its POST, then a CHKDSK follows. After CHKDSK is completed, a User Interface Failure window pops-up, saying...
User Interface Failure:
The Logon User Interface DLL msgina.dll failed to load. Contact
your system administrator to replace the DLL, or restore the original DLL.
Restart
I googled for a solution early this morning, but I haven't find one. There is a solution from MS Support Website -
Error Message: User Interface Failure: The Logon User Interface DLL Msgina.dll Failed to Load - but it works on Windows 2000.
My sister's OS is WinXP SP2...
It is clear that a .dll file is missing... the problem now is how I will be able to restore the file if I can't enter windows... What I have done this afternoon was removing the HDD, coz' I am planning to install it in my system since we have the same OS. My idea is to copy my System32 files then paste it to my sister's HDD. I am not sure if it will work....
Any help would be greatly appreciated..... Thanks....
