HELP: WiFi @ Home

Hi guys, I want to set up wifi here at home. What's a good wireless router? I'm planning to get the LinkSys WRT54G2 which costs P2,700 at Thinking Tools. Any suggestions?

ok ra na, mao na akong gamit sa balay sad. so far so good. but i dont know the price kung ok ra ba, kay kad2ng akoa router nga wifi, hinatag raman sa company.

Hey guys, I just bought the router today. Followed the step by step instructions on the CD. And everything was successful like the CD said. BUT, I'm experiencing the following problems:

1. I can't connect to the internet on my MAIN pc.
2. My other computers CAN detect the internet connection BUT cannot connect to it.

Please help!

@13thProphet: Perhaps your using a modem-router already? What modem (or modem-router) are you using)?

If modem-router ang imoha, you would only need a switch ra instead of a router (for wired setup) or an access point (for wireless setup) or an access point w/ n-port switch (for mixed wired-wireless setup).

Since napalit naman nimo ang imong router, i-disable ang dhcp server so that you can turn your router into a switch/AP. Only one router should be serving dhcp, not two.

OT: mga bro ask ta ko kng unsaon pag enable sa security sa router, kanang unsaon gni pag butang ug username paswrd everytym naay device nga mugamit sa net. im using netgear.
