groupies have been around for decades. i think the very first groupies started out when the very first rock band started out. some groupies like the infamous although fictional penny lane said that "we're here for the music".

some i think are there for the music and simply because they adore the band for the bands music.

even here in cebu alot of bands have groupies... they exist maybe for the same reason why rock bands exist. rebel streak? the adrenaline rush in the mosh pit? the crazy after parties... creative fluid overdose? or simply for the love of music...

nice topic man... a little too judgemental for somebody who i think was never around groupies but nice topic and i hope i would be enlightened too... and maybe maka understand ko why they exist. it might answer the question why rock bands exist.

bitaw oi... i have a band and groupie sad ko at the same time sa usa ka banda na so-ud namo... ok raman... wala man siguro mu gamit nako sa pipebomb kay laki man to sila tanan. wakekekekeke...

groupie ko nila coz i simply love the music that they create.
