if you have extra psu there, use it then observe. better if its a branded one to have wider reliability of assurance in diagnosis.

Two reason of Restarting:

1. Hardware-to identify if it is a hardware, test your hardisk or memory in a long period using Dos base software such as boot disk, just to indentify if it will restart. If it will restart then relplaced one by one first Powersupply, Memory, Video Card (try to check if fan is working), try also also to remove unnecessary divice such pci. opps! check also your cpu and system temperature.

2. Software-Provide other hardisk and install a software in it then try to oberve if it will still restart.

i was experience ing ana sad ako sa una computer mokalit blue then naay msg then usahay automatic restart gyd ang akong pc... the ang nakita nako nga problem is ang akong RAM 512 bali duha ka tag 128Then akong gi kuha ang 1 ka ram then mao ra to working balik.... cguro kanang imo naay problim ang imong usa ka slit try daw ug butang ug usa lang kay ram... basig naay problema imong slot puli pulihi lang... ug dili try to check uy laing hard disk.. kay usahay naa na sa hard disk ang problima. kalit lang balik balik restart. hope it will help.

bro....nakasuway ko,magsige restart ako cpu.....ako gi ilisan ug power supply....na ok ra sya...nagpalit ko ug branded sa PC express!!!!!!!

pero i think mas maau manghuwam sa ka sa imo mga kapuso o kapamilya be4 ka palit. i-try sa kung mo-ok ba if ilisan nimo power supply

posible sad nga ang mga golden colored edeges sa imo ram kay hugaw....wala connection sa slot......try to clean them using rubber eraser.....make sure wla mga finger prints,,den i-taud balik.....maybe ok na na!

try cleaning your RAM slots with sandpaper.. mao gibuhat sa akng mobo dd2 sa PCX.. fold the sandpaper in a way that the rough part is facing outside.. then isulod sa tunga sa RAM slot then limpyohi.. note that the sandpaper must be the very fine (pino)..

Restarting problem is always a power issue.

Did you OC CPU? if so your CPU might lack power. or one of your components in the motherboard might need voltage adjustments.
And also one factor is a cheapo PSU or defective PSU.

If its a RAM problem most likely the symptom is hang, blue screen and not restart.

evilito, is your problem already solve?.. most of what they said was true!
the memory you install doesn't cause the problem, in fact as you've said you removed the
memory yet problem still occurs. Mostly, in this issue cause from a Faulty PowerSupply
better switch your PSU with quality one not a China Generic PSU, co'z it would make a headache for you in future. After you've done replacing it, have a thorough test and please do have feedbacks here.
