Job Title : Upholsterer ( Home Furniture )


Principal Accountabilities & Activities :-

1. Assembling the frame parts according to the designs and styles .
2. Fixing the base spring to the frames .
3. Cutting the fabric according to the design with the help of stencils & with minimum wastage .
4. Sewing the fabric for seat cushions with zip – closures .
5. Sewing the fabric for skirt .
6. Stuffing the cushions with the materials as per specification .
7. Padding & Form forming the frames with the materials as per specification .
8. Fixing the non- sagging springs on back .
9. Fixing fabric on the sofas .
10. Packing the finished goods in plastic after quality checking .
11. Any other activities as per the work requirements .


Candidate must have :-

Academic Qualification : Minimum S.I.C / Secondary School Education .

Technical Qualification : Holding Trade certificate from reputed institution preferred

Skills : Assembling the frame ( Semi- carpentry ) cutting &
Sewing the fabric – padding & covering sofas .

Languages : Good command in English ( Arabic preferred )

Experience : Not less than 5 years in the field international brand
Names especially American & European styles.

Experience in Middle East preferred
