Mga MASTER another problem nasad, unsa kaha ni nga prob sa? 3 days nako na buang ani unsa jud ni since I got this bnew webcam.

1st problem, then mao ni nahitabo, pag palit nako sa webcam it says driver free so Im glad nga no need nga driver for windows OS except sa MAC pero pag taud nako sa akong BACK I/O usb even sa front panel or to all my USB ports mag prompt cya ani permi!

So far sa akong USB ports ang naka taud kay USB external HDD, ug USB mouse mao ra then ig prompt ato niya ma wala ra then ig tan-aw nako sa mycomputer mao ni mo gawas USB Video Device #3 instead sa USB VIDEO Device ra.

2nd problem if dili nako cya installan ug driver coz actually naa man driver cya apil naa ra nimo if imo i install, then first use of the camera to CAPTURE picture naay mga dotted white spots nga gamay not so many pero mo exist jud. Pero ako gani installan ug driver ma wala cya.

Why man ma ing ana oi! unya using windows builtin scanners/camera features mao to mo dotted iyang result sa image then if ako gani gamiton ang a4tech nga software WALA jud problema klaro kaayo. Pero why man sa una nako nga camera nga a4tech wala man mag ing ana?

So, ako nani gi uli sa ako gi palitan gi suwayan did2 wala man ni occur ang problema maski sa white spots ug mag prompt nga error? why man?


Palihug mga bossing tambagi ug tabangi ako, samtang ma uli pani...wa ko kabalo sa ako ba nga system kay sa ako gi palitan wa man mag ing ana. Then ika 2nd webcam nani nga gi ilis still the same results. I am using winxp sp2 now pero still problem is there, sp3 samot unsa kaha ni sa? so far karon rako kasugat ani nga prob.

Pls help kinsa to naa same problem ug camera sa akoa, unsaon ni nako pag sulbad. Thanks

sa akong lang pagsabot brad ha? dili ko sigurado ani:

feeling nko kung dili nimu e install ang iya drivers, dili niya e recognize imu usb port as usb 2.0 which is the required usb port sa imu webcam... thats why mu gawas tong

but that doesnt mean dili siya mu work...mu work siya pero hinay iya response... sige nko ka try ana nga error... usahay kanang pansakan nkog bluetooth device ako pc nga wai drivers installed... sahay sad kanang mga card reader...

so i suggest:

install the drivers instead... nganu dili man sad nimu e install iya drivers? and why not use the a4tech software? wala man kaha white dots kung a4tech software imu gamiton?

no offense brad pero tanan nimu pangutana kai naa ra sad didto imu tubag...

go to Device Manager, then right click USB device kay you need to update the driver para mo-support sa USB 2.0

i have a A4tech nightview webcam. and i installed a driver for it. i think you should too.

Its all updated bro maybe its the matter of compatibility.

I understand you guys pero so far karon daghan nga prob ako na agian sa akong PC or accessories maybe gi malas2x cguro ko i dunno unsa ba pero I hope I will overcome this.

Ok, I have compared installing the drivers and using the default windows xp sp3 or sp2 drivers for USB, I know dili na need ug driver mao gani na lipay ko pag palita, pero naa man nuun problema coz mag popup man cya once after fresh windows OS installation, nga mao lage USB issue "The Generic USB Hub is a HI-SPEED USB device and will function at reduced speed when plugged into a non-HI-SPEED port. Then I tried resolving the problem, maski ako gi installan ug drivers naa man gihapon so wala kalahian if ako i install ang drivers sa ako webcam or dili kay mo popup man gihapon cya mao na ako question why man? ako nana gi buhat tanan.

Ang difference lang jud kay when I used the a4tech webcam driver, then using the software I cant see dotted images on it, then nindot if mag record ka klaro kaayo. Pero mao lagi if using the windows default softwares when using your webcam mag problema jud.

Mao nga to tell you mga master! I tried everything maski using windows vista naa gihapon na ang popup usb issue. I dont know sa camera w/c is not compatible cguro sa ako system. Kay ang daan nako nga camera nga a4tech wa man jud problema even usb to.


Right now I prefer using windows vista, then installing the drivers for webcam. Medyo ok na cya gamay.

the pop-up message is saying that the webcam is usb2.0 & ur usb port is not. the problem is not the webcam it is ur usb port. maybe ur system do not have usb2.0 or the driver wasn't installed properly. to check, go to ur device manager>usb controllers, there should be something like 'usb enhanced host controller' if ur system has usb2.0.

mao niy akong device manager bro...



however, there is no driver for usb2.0 in my mobo together the CD.
its only the chipset driver, vga driver and sound driver no USB.

Like what I said, karon pako kasugat ani ang gipulihan nako ani nga webcam kay a4tech gihapon usb pero y man dili man mag error etc..wa may prob.

I am only using the windows xp sp3 windows generic driver for usb. Should I?

i think the bundled driver for your webcam in XP is the older version. maybe A4Tech has updated its driver 10 times already. therefore the enhanced driver is not available in the XP installer. microsoft can't afford to add every single updated a hardware manufacturer will have. they will only include what is available on the time the created the OS. any updates after that will be for the user to install the updated driver from the manufacturer.

brad u need to install the driver w/it...or either the usb port..mao rana o far ang ako na experience preha ana nga case.
