Please, can someone help me how to fix my LITEON DVD writer?

Modetect siya pero dili na siya ka read, unsa man solution ani mga istoryans and unsa man pud ning tawag nila nga firmware? tnx in advance. hehehe

Bro, how long is ur liteon dvdrw? coz if its new the only solution is to RMA, or return that back
to the vendor and let them check as well.

Then, the second one is to make some little troubleshooting. What you are using SATA or IDE for the DVDRW? check if there is a defect and if you have spare try to swap to see w/c is the problem.
