kung bisdak mabuhi guro..i have friends nag banda..wala man makakwarta...og gusto jd nimu maging musician make og song and adto ka manila...ky sure naa guro ka future...hehehe

Bisan mga big bands in Manila medyo ga lisod gani.
Sa USA mabuhi tingali bisan 1 hit wonder kay naay royalty.
Sa pinas, lisod, but possible.

mabuhi ra basta naay regular gig. lisud para sa mga 1 genre band kay talagsa ra ang gigs. pero kung variety/show band, dali ra makakitag gigs.

tanan trabaho "makabuhi" man cguro. pero ang banda daghan og factors na iconsider. mao in the long run d maau kung mao ra gyud imo gsaligan. bsan usa lang ang mawa o mag inarte daku na og maapkto sa imo or sa nu in general.

"trabaho" as a musician.. wouldn't the more profitable "job" be teaching music rather than the creation of original songs? 'coz mas sure ang salary and less ang working hours.. diba? magtukar mu, u get paid by the "set" and its split up by the band members, if you guys get acknowledged by the people you can charge higher rates and without a good promoter or manager, you wouldn't have gigs lined up... compared to working an hour per "session" and you can fill up your day with as much as makaya or available and have a set term of 10-12 sessions.. you can charge as low as 200 per hour and as much as 400 depending on the situation.. hehehe

for me.. ga play us sa band coz thats passion. We get contented playing infront of the audience bisan gamay rakau ang pay. 250-300/person/night. such amount cannot pay your bills. dapat sideline lang jud na cya. We only perform on restdays man pud. pawala sa stress
