Universal ba ang bible?
naa man gud mo-claim nga makaluwas ni. Apan sa mga Buddhist? Ug uban pa?
nga wala nagtu-o ug bibliya?
what do you mean wala gatou? cguro sa mga details (the events, people, dates...etc) wala clay alamag but i think kung pabasahon cla sa bible, they will agree sa mga principles behind the stories of the bible. They may have a different religion but they also teach people how to do good for other people. I think that's what's important.
no. it's just a book. its verses may be alien to other different cultures.
the Scriptures become the absolute authority in matters of doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness
2 Tim. 3:16 - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
so if mo follow ta maluwas jud ta ky instruction in righteousness man ang Bible.
about Bible is Universal?
Yes!
Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
if wala ang Genesis 1:1, naa kaha ta ninyo karon?
i dont think it's universal. to other religions, it's just a book. the same way we see the koran, bhagavad gita, etc
If you'll go back to your HISTORY classses in college, especially if maayo kaayo mo discuss inyong teacher, then he/she will really say with conviction that the bible is a historical book.
I'm talking about college History classes, not the ones in high school kay kasagaran dili ipanulti ang details and ang tinood sa high school.
