Cool boardinghouse blues: tips and tricks.. and horror stories

Hello sa tanan na nag board diha pareha nako..

I started being on my own and renting my own place in 2006. It's been more than two years and I still consider myself not so comfortable especially since I'm renting a simple pad.

So simple that I only have my computer, internet, speakers, printer, shoes, clothes, and some helpful stuff..

of course I miss my home.. i had everything you're supposed to have...
Cable TV, a fridge, an oven, microwavea, a maid, and everything.....
    what do you miss?

and what are the necessities if you stay on your own?

    how do you overcome boredom?

    do you have roomie blues?

    who does your laundry?

do you have problems with freeloaders?

what is your staple food? pancit canton too?

lets help each other here guys... mostly I'm expecting the call center guys, reviewers, college students from the different provinces, and the yupees to answer...

    hahah.. maynta lingaw ni.. haha

mu prefer ko ug pad nga 2 mi, but separate rooms ha...hehehehe...

if i have a choice(provided naa money), mag condo unit ko uy!! bahala na ako ra usa, secured man sad kay naa man 24-hour security...

i used to live in a boarding house years ago

It's a Bahay na Bato (spanish era house) so naay momo.
for my first 4 months i'm the only boarder along with the katiwala (so 2 ra mi sa very big (haunted) house)
after 4 months a couple rented the other room and turn the house into a living hell for a month (i lost a lot of personal space and they used up all the water that i save every late night for my morning bath.i save 10 buckets, i use only 2 but they consume everything without replacing it!)
i was even accused of peeping the wife (a butt-ugly obese pregnant woman) and the even tried to black-mail me by paying 10,000 pesos so that they won't press charges(good thing my landlord came to my rescue and sent them away)lahi ra gyud ning good boy!
then back to the old routine with only the late ka teban (caretaker) the momo/momos and i
on the 6th month they decided to increase the rent so i transfered to a bhaus owned by my boss (half the price of my previous bhaus)
there a 6 of us all officemates and there are no more problems with water, personal space and blackmailers.
we had cable tv,phone line with internet connection (a rare thing way back 2000) a mini gym and my friends can even stay overnight.(kung hubog na kaayo or late na kaayo at night)

i guess thats what i can share regarding bhaus experience.

karon sa office na ko mo stay kung naay quarters.
