Ipod Nano Speaker recommendations??

i have a friend with Ipod Nano (not the latest model...no video capability yet)
what speaker set can you recommend that runs on both AC and AA(or rechargeable li-ion)
one requirement is that it must be able to charge or power the ipod when AC is plugged in.
she doesnt want to keep on charging the ipod separately.
she wants to leave the ipod on the speakers 90% of the time.

best bet would probably any of the altec inmotion speakers. the iM600 looks nice (and even has FM on it, just an added bonus i guess, as well as remote, display, etc.) and it's somewhere $120-ish, but well worth it. for a portable, the sound quality is everything you would want in something that small. if she wants a dock with more oomph, there's not a lot of brands that allow a dock and charge type of deal. anywho, more info here: Altec Lansing > DOCKING AUDIO > For iPod > inMotion iM600. what are you doing up so late anyway? lol

working the graveyard shift. crap. oh well, such is life. going back on topic, have you ever seen those motorcycles with speakers on em? those things are loud. i wonder if there was like a portable version of that - that would be a good mobile party ready to happen; couple that with this disco light, that will be a night to remember. hehehe.
