Default Can lpg damage a vehicle's engine?

Hello! I'm raising this kind of question so that i could seek help and hear from some of the experts here who are knowledgeable about this thing 'coz somehow, i'm kinda interested to convert my vehicle's fuel system to LPG due to the consistent oil price hike.

I've heard from a mechanic and even seconded by another mechanic that lpg is not good for a vehicle because it usually damages the cylinder head of a car as it emits an extreme and more heat in the engine compared to gasoline and that he has encountered a lot of taxis already which needed overhaul due to this kind of problem. HOW TRUE IS THIS? If this is true, is this ok to install in private vehicles too considering that it's lesser to use compared to taxis? Also, i was informed that mileage for lpg system is lesser compared to gasoline by 1 kilometer or might be even lesser. Say for example, if a vehicle runs on a ratio of 1(liter):10(kilometers), it will become 1(liter):9(kilometers) na lang. How true are these gathered informations i have, guys? I hope some expert, well informed, fellow istoryans could help me out with my concern here and thank you in advance to whoever shares his/her fruitful ideas.

LPG is safe for vehicle's engine.
In korea all of TAXI vehicle must use LPG.
Coz LPG engine has lower smoke and clean emission.

But why is it mechanics observed that the engine is much hotter after use for those who are using lpg comparing it to gasoline?

Many countries may have been using lpg, but the question is, will it affect the durability of the engine? Like making it susceptible to less durable to some parts of the engine?

LPG is good but Gasoline is better. Remember that engines are built and designed to be ran using gasoline and not some any other stuff. Though the other stuff works, the optimum performance of your engine can be achieved only using the substance intended to be used by your engine.

if it will damage your engine, i think it wont be to soon and you still have time to get rid of your car hehe. seriously i dont think it wont damage ur engine although its a risk since ur running ur engine on different fuel. for me ok ra man cguro lpg boss ang dili lang nako ganahan sa lpg is baho jud. i cant take the smell and doctors say it can complicate your breathing and respiratory system and eventually your heart.for me ill just go for gasoline.. just sell your car and buy a fuel efficient rides hehe

Baho? Dili man siguro na masmell nimo ang lpg when you're inside the car driving, diba? And siguro naman dili pud safe ang smell sa gasoline satong respiratory system. Further, maski efficient pa imong car run, but since mahal naman kaayo ang gasoline, dili gihapon tipid.

ubang country nga naggamit ug LPG sa ilang mga taxi kay purposely built pud para LPG ang internals not like here na converted ra. anyway... seen ford expeditions converted to LPG... now they have problems in the internals... loss of power... and the sad thing is... Ford Cebu wont repair it even if its warranty is not claimed. sayang lagi.

x2.. the mileage of LPG is lesser than of Gas. that is city driving. mas cheaper lang jud ang LPG sa price..
less power and you'll need to have your engine maintained much more that usually.
