planning to buy amd set-up and don't know which mobo fit best.
bossdak:
dili man gud ko sweto sa amd kay i'm using intel right now unya ganahan pod ug games.kana lang cguro dili onboard ang video.unsa mani na model ang GA-K8N51GMF-9 ug brand?thanks
get MSI if naa mn galing... naa namay bag o nga release geforce 6150 nga chipset, kana imo giingon nga model kay 6100 na siya
u can also try msi rs480 mobo. it has a built in ati x200 video. i got a friend that owns one with 2 512mb ram so that it could function in dual channel mode. we've tried it with nfs-mw and it showed no problems in medium settings
unsa kaha specific model aning msi?thanks..Originally Posted by Vino Kid

i agree that nforce4 chipsets are better than that of ati but, the difference is not big. if you can afford a pci e graphics card, i suggest you use the nforce4 w/c has no built in video. built in video can degrade the performance of your motherboard even when a graphics card is inserted but, the difference is not really that big. you can hardly see the difference on the performance except on benchmarks but again, the difference in scores is not big. but if you are tight on budget, you can use the ati chipset so that you dont need to buy a graphics card inorder to play the latest games. the advantage of this is that you can upgrade later so theres a big possibility that the current high end vcards price will drop more than half just like what happened to the previous high end vcards. or you can avail of the latest model which i think could even surpass the performance of nforce4 chipsets with old model vcards.i'd heard that nforce4 chipset is better than ati.is this true?thanks..
the latest ATI chipset looks pretty promising.
thanks for the info.Originally Posted by franklin
