i'm not sure if i'm in the right thread but i just wanted to find out if anybody is experiencing a faster surfing experience here in istorya since the vbulletin upgrade. i've tried safari, firefox, ie and opera and it's the same thing - it's faster. there are new ads all over the place, but that's really part of business so it's not much of a bother, at least for me. i'm not sure if all the threads are back up, thus the increased performance, but it's generally better. just wanted to know because i've been wanting to convert my smf forum to vbulletin for quite some time now...

If you don't like ads and you use firefox, use adblock plus add-in para mas paspas ang load

yes its a bit slower but at least i have not experience the "High stress server...blah.blah.blah" downtime

It should be generally faster now. Did a few tweaks on the back end.
ditch_azeroth, SMF is a lot more resource friendly compared to vBulletin. We are only getting a good performance gain because our new server is 5x better than our old one.

about an hour ago it went down for a few minutes, other than that i haven't experienced any problems with regards to browsing/posting unlike with the old server
