I have a set of JBL speakers that I hook up to my ipod/laptop. This worked for a few months until today. I can't hear the sound from laptop/ipod. All i hear is .... <don't know how to describe>... a buzzing sound. I noticed that if i hold the ipod in my hand, the buzzing sound becomes louder. Or when i unplug the wire from the ipod and touch the metal tip of the wire that connects to the speakers, the buzzing sound becomes louder.

Could any1 explain to me what could be wrong??

something gone wrong with your JBL speakers, its grounded or shorted,

try to replace the Audio cable, the cable running from your JBL to your laptop / ipod
