yep! 1 of the best, or you can also delete temp files and folders left by installations on your temp folder.

Win XP:
goto Start > Run > type in %temp%

Win Vista:
type in on the start search box %temp%

sometimes, temporary files, like offline web files, browsing history, and the likes can help surfing faster "a bit" by just renewing the part of the page which has an update from the server...unlike erasing all of it, thus making the whole page to be downloaded again. this is noticeable when surfing heavy sites with the bling-blings.
