Need help mga experts..

I have recently connected with my 2Mbps dsl connection.My problem is I cannot connect with my server to other computers.I bought another lancard but still it says:lan limited or no connectivity.My modem is Zyxel p-600 series.Now Im just using my server only.I would appreciate any help and advice.Thanks

explain kuno usab bro.. kong unsa gusto nimo mahitabo sa imong connection... kay kong mag network ka ana ug lan to lan... kinahanglan ka ug crosscable, kong naa ka ruoter man maayo kay sayon ra kaayo e share ang imong connection.. kong pc to pc lang pwede gehapon na..

duha ang lancard sa imong server pc... nya sa pikaw pc usa iyang.. nya cross connetion na siya bro.. pero imu na assign up ip bro.. nya parehas ug subnet mask.

how many PC do you have?if you have more than one PC, i suggest you use a router..are you using 2 lancards in your server?.try to elaborate again your network connection..

bitaw, ask lang pud ko pila ka PC diha og pwede ang sever nimo duha ka NIC then used router for DSL connection, then used switch connection para sa imo client.... ask lang ko if unsa na application nimo pra ba sa database or unsa na server? o txt lang to consult 09169285967... tnx

ISP modem ----> router ---->switch ---->workstations ( that if nagkinahanglan ka ug wireless connection, security etc.)

ISP modem -----> switch ---->workstation ( mas cheaper/basic networking)

Please refer to this link for details. if you're using 2 lan cards for your server, they should be configured that the 2 lan cards should have unique I.P. addresses. you can over-ride the default ip address of the lan card if you wish to. anyway, you might want to refer to the link above for reference. if you have questions, you can email me at loytee@yahoo.com or send me a PM.

you don't need a switch if you only have one workstation.
connect the modem directly to the workstation.
