ever wondered what happens in an official trip made by our city's dads?

1. get detained at airport for not using one's head in order to count the number of days of stay in that country. instead of getting the job easier, one official even brags out that he is a visitor of the mayor of a certain city in that country. matter could have been solved if the official was using his head to count out the time when they were stranded while waiting for a connecting flight instead of bursting out and bragging who he was.

2. official business or just a junket? hmmmmmm well what really happened was this. went around the city, paid a courtesy call, then shopping. as if it was only a day of shopping, it was a whole weeks worth of shopping. result? no reel in of needed investments and donations made from our city dads. plus a very bad impression made on the hosts. one official even admitted it was indeed a junket.

3. who gets to go? well two ex-officials went to. what was the result? an inquiry made and some eyebrows raised asking who those two ex-officials and his wife were and what was their business with the group.

4. thats not all. excess baggage from shopping and a confiscated bottle of liquor concluded the trip. why was it confiscated? well apparently they were all planning to drink...


sure enough it wasnt our taxpayer's money wasted. but think about the impression made on the foreigners.
