Correct Linux uses GRUB software or many others but this is ubuntu right its probably GRUB
usually after installation from cd/dvd ubuntu distro --> this is your GRUB home directory /boot/grub/ <--- terminal
if you mess up with this just re-insert your cd ubuntu distro and reset your bios boot order to CD/DVD ubuntu cd's are packed with
diagnostic tools that will have to restore your Boot Loader which is GRUB.....

    visit: http://www.ubuntu.com
usually I just google it.... wakekeke

The Hardy Heron LiveCD is easier than the Gutsy Gibbon or the Feisty Fawn
Just set your boot order to CD 1st, HDD 2nd and so on.... when it boots from the Hardy Heron CD, select ra kag install, then ngayo xa language, then everything is straightforward na Sakto mo mga bro, Ubuntu is Debian based using GRUB bootloader.

Hardy Heron rocks jud bro! Faster ang Compiz. More stable than ever
