i am posting this for a friend.
when he started working for this company he didnt recieve any sss,philhealth. he was also promise by the company that he will recieved overtime pay and a salary of 7000. after five months of working, he always make it to a point that every time he recieve his salary to complain, " where is my contract ready, my salary adjustments,my overtime pay to be adjusted, they say that the salary is monthly, yet it is computed on a daily basis not including saturday. when there was work on a saturday. they say that it was already included so on and so forth. so he was so shock to recieve verbally from the owner that he is terminated right then and there.
my question is? is the company practicing illegally terminating its employees? what can we do about this? i pity my friend who is now having no work.
