in my opinion..

i guess AMD is still far behind like a year+ when in comes to innovation.

Intel in the other hand are now showing off der 45nm processor.

+plus intel are cutting off prices like hell.. having 50% price cut-off really hurts on AMD's belly.

looks like AMD is in deep trouble.

its fastest Quad Core which is a 1 week old cant even beat the almighty Intel Q6600 which i quote is a "15 months old"

but on the positive side.. those who have motherboard with AM2 socket can now have a choice of upgrade..

UP for INTEL for the price cuts.. we all know who will win the war... "us the constumers" :mrgreen:

UP for AMD for making CPU's and please dont die... cuz without u. INTEL will monopolize and processor will be expensive.

lets just hope the AMD wont lose to much money..

remmeber they still have a big dept in the banke after they acquired ATI.

and if AMD will lose theres a fat chance that IBM will buy em.

Intel has the performance crowns. but the Tricore gives options to those who have AM2 Socket to upgrade.

the more the aggressive the competition the more price cuts will come.

AMD TriCore is best for those who have AM2 mobo.. to upgrader their old system

cuz AMD haven't been able to make a processor thats worth the upgrade.

so AMD TriCore is a good choice.

but when we say performace Intels Core2Quad still has the crown.

taken the fact the intel are now distributing 45nm processor and a 50% price cut off.

and i guess 45nm on AMD will be next yr or last 2008..

tricore only beat intel C2D in processor intensive apps such as max..3d render..where number of thread executed in a single pass counts...

but in other apps..they simply cant reach the mighty c2d..raw or overclocked..

its a good news /bad news actually...

for am2 user hu edit video...its a chance to add another core minus TLB bug...

for am2 gamers....not a time to upgrade yet....

for intel fans...its a gud time to upgrade cuz intel in slashing its chip prices up to 50% to counter the 3 cores,sell off its 65 nanometer lithographed C2D and C2Q and give way to the 45nanometer chips..

for those PC abUSER like me nga way budget....its a time para mangatang sa buy and sell section...
