Does anyone here knows how to setup PuTTY so I can run a gui program over remote server? I know how it is done when I'm using Linux but don't know how it is done in Windows.

I don't use Putty to forward X via ssh.
I use cygwin and is better. Best if you are familiar already with linux for commands/options are the same.
Thanks cold fusion, actually I prefer working with linux commands, I'll check out cygwin right away. Do you know how it is done in a Mac?Originally Posted by cold_fusion
Mac OS is BSD (unix like).
You could use ssh in the command line directly.
Thanks, I haven't used a Mac, just asking in advance just in case. I wonder if it is possible to do X forwarding in mobile?![]()
I got cygwin working with X forwarding, I don't like to use Putty anymore, thanks cold fusion.
You're welcome.![]()
