2nd feast of Sr. Sto. Niño

Aside from the Sinulog festival, Cebu City will mark April 28 as a second feast of the baby child Jesus (Sto. Niño) and name it as "Kaplag". The Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) said that "Kaplag" will commemorate the discovery of the image of Sto. Niño in a nipa hut way back in April 28, 1565. Just like Sinulog, Kaplag will hold a series of religious and cultural activities.
