care if u post the specs...

try not to block the cooling system of ur laptop, so that air can circulate freely.
and also try to elevate ur laptop, from the table or anywhere u use it...

hey thanks, il do that. mine is a dell inspiron 8200

i just had it a few adys and im wonder what games can i play
my specs are
1.7-GHz/1.2-GHz Pentium 4-M CPU
256MB of 266-MHz DDR SDRAM
512KB L2 cache
Windows XP Home
15.1-inch active-matrix screen
NVidia GeForce4 440 Go graphics with 64MB of DDR SDRAM
40GB hard drive
DVD/CD-RW combo; floppy
built-in V.92 modem and network adapter
touchpad and eraserhead pointing devices

yeah bai when i hit 3hours or when i charge the battery i cant leave it plugged. it will overheat and shut down. onec full charge i have to unplug it after a few mins.

naa ka service tag ana bai? go lang support.dell.com. click medium and large business.click inspiron under notebooks.then click troubleshooting. butang service tag or just choose the product model.itype lang imo prob sa search bar.

try sa daw cleaning sa vents ug fan dat might help.

naay melting sa plastics?

well plastic hasnt melted yet, shuts down before it does that. elevation helps but not the overcharging battery. il check out the dell support site thanks cho

naa man, hp nx9030...
its running, almost 24 hrs per day...
wa mn ko ka experience nag overheat siya...

you said u had it for a few days,
forsure covered pna siya sa warranty...
bisag 2nd hand or brand new pa.

still under warrenty but my cousin brought it from usa. hp and compaq are the best laptops asides from imac. very cool
