I watch the "Correspondents "in GMA 7 and Im very concern on whats happening now in our country.Not only that we are suffering this rise,oil and political crisis,but I was worried that due to poverty and negligence of our agencies concern,one problem has not been given attention...This kind of illegal activity "the pinay baby-makers..

In an interview,these girls age 14 to 23 years old were given by Chinos and other foreigner couples who cant have a child with thier wife an amount ranging from 8,000 to 9,000 a month to be thier baby-maker.Imagine,a minor will bear this baby for 9 months and after that ,the child will be taken from her after.Imagine the mental and emotional problem that will come to her.

I dont have a problem with that as long as the BABY MAKERS are at the right age wgich 18 years old and above . The issues are all consentual , both from the babymaker and the sponsor .

Id rather support the cause though of QUALIFIED FOREIGNERS to just adopt babies instead of have someone bear it for them .

[color=navy]I think it's better to call them as surrogate mothers. Surrogacy is a method of assisted reproduction where a woman agrees to become pregnant for the purpose of gestating and giving birth to a child for others to raise.

I agree with Springfield that if the baby maker or surrogate mother is of the right legal age and she's fully aware and willing of what she's getting herself into, she can have this choice, for it's her body. It is alarming that women as young as 14 are being forced into this and that's exploitative. This isn't new "news", however. These cases have been going around here in the Philippines for decades, it is only just recent that it's brought out by the media.

I don't think it's wrong as long as both parties are of legal age, do things according to general civil law with legal documents, there is just care and compensation for the surrogate mother, and the born child is brought up, well and healthy.

[b]Like adoption, surrogacy is a viable option and means for couples unable to have children to build a family BUT like anything, it can be corrupted and prone to exploitation.

For women of legal age maybe.But the issue here are girls aging from 14 years old above.Coz theyre receiving money as payment,can we call them prostitutes?@Spriggy?

ITS COMMON IN INDIA but the difference in INDIA are adults not in the PHILIPPINES some are minors. I think its IMMORAL and outlaw

Is it really because of poverty or because they were misinformed?Its sad to hear that this world is so much of matearial things now than spiritual.
