Pescador Island - great diving and snorkeling site!

Was lucky enough to spend a day appreciating the beautiful corals and the variety of fishes at Pescador Island... :mrgreen:

Pescador is a tiny island located on the southwest coast of Cebu, about 90 kilometres from Cebu City and reached via the small town of Moalboal (around 10-20 minutes by pumpboat).
They say that this small island with rocky cliffs is fringed by a shallow plateau covered with corals, 3m-15m wide. You can appreciate spectacular drop-offs that plunge away to enormous depths [between the mainland of Moalboal and Pescador Island the seafloor drops to about 300m (1,000 feet)].

The crystal clear waters give us a glimpse of the beautiful corals and numerous fishes abounding... but you've got to snorkel or dive to be able to truly appreciate it... sayang wala ko kadala ug waterproof cam!

a pumpboat good for 40 persons (although around 18 ra mi nangadto) cost us 3500 for the whole trip... bring your own snorkeling/ diving equipment...

been there!! grabe ka nice dd2... nig abot jud ninyo near sa island,ma speechless mo sa corals... ^_^ a must for snorkeling and diving fans.. ^_^
