I know this post is way too late but have you guys knew that another Pinoys rose as victors abroad... MTV just finished it's new show called America's Best Dance Crew with Randy Jackson (American Idol) as the executive producer and two of the crews have Pinoys linked to them...

One crew, Kaba Modern, is a dance organization organized by Flips in US. Their name Kaba was actually from "kababayan". The crew was represented by Korean students in w/c they were mentored by who else - PINOYS!!! Too bad, they got robbed by Status Quo...

The season 1 champion, JABBAWOCKEEZ, w/3 members who are Pinoys (Rynan Paguio, Phil Tayag and Chris Gatdula), 2 asians (Ben Bhung and Phi Nguyen) and a Black-Am (Kevin Brewer)... It was supposed to be a 7-men crew but their mentor, Gee-One (Gary Kendell), died due to pneumonia before the filming began

Just check out youtube.com or MTV.com to watch the episodes. The show started last February 07, w/Mario Lopez (Dancing w/the Stars) as the host... Judges were JC Chasez (N'Sync), 'Lil Mama and Shane Sparks (renowed choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance and You Got Served)

By the way, JABBAWOCKEEZ did a short cameo in the movie, Step Up 2 shown last February 14...

:mrgreen: if America didn't vote for Jabbawockeez to win, fo'sure, the ratings for the said competition wouldn't be as a high as what they have right now... Jabba deserves to win... Like their choreography's so damn good... Kudos to all of them!!! They tried their luck to before w/America's Got Talent but only eliminated in their Vegas Episode... MTV's doing auditions now for the season 2 of America's Best Dance Crew and the show will air by summer/June 2008...

YEAH PHI'S THE CUTEST... I LOVE THE 3 FLIPS IN THE CREW, CHRIS, RYNAN AND PHIL... TRY CHECKING MTV.COM TOO FOR ALL THE INFOS ON ABDC...

YEAH, I'VE SEEN THEIR GUESTING IN REGIS AND KELLY... JABBA DANCED "THE RED PILL"... IT WASN'T REALLY MY FAVORITE THOUGH BUT BASTA JABBAWOCKEEZ, ANYTHING GOES... I LOVE THE EPISODE WHEREIN THEY'RE ASKED TO DO MUSIC VIDEO CHOREOGRAPHY. JABBA WAS ASSIGNED TO OMARION'S ICEBOX AND ACCORDING TO SHANE SPARKS, IF THE GUYS BEHIND THAT VIDEO DIDN'T SEE JABBA DID THEIR THING, IN WHICH WAS FAR BETTER THAN THE MUSIC VIDEO AND DON'T HIRE THEM TO DO THE BACK-UP DANCING, IT'S GONNA BE THEIR LOST ... SHANE SPARKS LOVES JABBA THAT HE SAID THEIR PERFORMANCE HAVE RAISED THE INTENSITY FOR THE NEXT CREWS TO CATCH UP TO THEIR LEGACY EVEN HARDER...

I'VE SEEN A LOT OF DANCE CREWS IN YOUTUBE LIKE THE PHILIPPINE ALL-STARS AND DAMN, THEY'RE GOOD TOO. I HOPE ANOTHER DANCE CREW FLIP WILL JOIN SEASON 2... SPEAKING OF YOUTUBE, SOME OF JABBA'S MOVES WERE "COPIED" BY THE SOP BOYS AND EVEN THE STREETBOYS!!! I THOUGHT, STREETBOYS DOES THEIR ROUTINES ORIGINALLY... JUST TRY CHECKING THIS ONE TOO...

yeah.. that episode in which they danced to icebox was one of my faves too! grabe.. dali ra au nla na sunod.. bilib jd ko! ^___^

yeah, their moves were damn good... it's hot!!! am not really sure if it was SOP boys and even the Streetboys copied their moves but i'll go and check youtube again... hilig sab ka sayaw noh are you familiar w/so you think you can dance duna naman unya version diri sa canada. sus, canadian, wala originality. sunod sa mga taga-US, hahahhahah... i bet you're also watchin american idol because of ramiele but too bad she was eliminated. duna pud version ang taga-canada diri, canadian idol. last year duna pud pinoy apil top 10. i just forgot her name... check na lang sa youtube...
