    Default Yahoo Domain registration warning

    http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/

yahoo says you can by domain for just $2.95 PER year

    thats right! but note!

I bought my first domain for only $14.95 for 5 years
the second one just a few minutes after it says $14.95 also!
i confirmed the price at $14.95, but the billed says CONGRATULATIONS! you have to pay $49.95
the email responded with $49.95 for the second domain... for $9.95 per year. HELL! WHY ONLY NOTIFY NOW AFTER I CONFIRM!
then i read.. somewhere very hard to find...
"Customers are limited to one offer per customer on a single account for customer's own purchase only. Offer is nontransferable and may not be combined with other offers and discounts, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. Other terms and conditions apply; see the Yahoo! Small Business Terms of Service when you sign up. Yahoo! expressly reserves the right to change the price or features of these services at its sole discretion at any time."

f***! as in really f**king yahoo. what a ripoff! now what am i gonna do?
i will have to negotiate with yahoo and all that s**t.
there is no refund for yahoo. i already called customerservice for my credit card.
they say i have to contact yahoo first, then when the billing is posted, i have to complain.
I saved the screenshots of my transaction.

i wonder what will happen? i'd rather buy the domain from another site not Yahoo.

    anyone care to buy it?
    just $49.95.

its a good domainname by the way.

for just $49.95 for 5 years.
exclusive of extra chargest for domain transfer or redelegation.

you pay for all the extra charges for transfer.. sigh..

its shopbitz.com nice man sad no? good for company name that sells computer stuffs[br]Date Posted: February 07, 2006, 06:33:19 PM

i will try to auction it if i can.. kung wala interested.

lesson learned: DOnt search if dont plan to buy the domain. ever. ever.
company do save their searches and buy it before you can if they like the domain.

I have about 20 domain names, but i dont buy domains at Yahoo. I know beforehand that Yahoo and others that offer cheap domains has a hidden crooked service.

    I buy my domains here:
    www.namecheap.com
    www.domainsite.com
www.godaddy.com - warning, it has also hidden charges. I only buy through them if they have loopholes in their systems. I frequent in a domain name forums to get the infos of the said loopholes.

well.... the first domain will just cost you $2.95. but the suceeding domain name will cost you the regular rate... i suggest you use another yahoo account and credit card. so you can take advantage of $2.95
