hi all,

pwede ko mangayo og tabang ninyo, newbie man gud ko, pwede ba na ang internet connection nako sa office pwede ba ko maka connect sad sa among balay? unsay mga configuration og set-up akong dapat buhaton?

Ug naay WIFI ang inyo office pwd ka makakuha ug internet access from your office ug kun naa pud kay Wifi router sa imo PC or wifi ready na imo laptop/notebook. Ang wifi depende sad na sa range o gilay-on sa imong balay from your office. naay 108m ra ang pwd maabot but magkalayo magkahinay ang connectivity niya.

ug ang imong balay naa ra luyo sa imo office hala pwd kaayo ka maka-access pag LAN nlng. make sure dili ka masakpan.aaahehehe.

thanks for the reply, ang among office layo jud naa sa lapu-lapu nya ang among balay naa sa mandaue, unsa kaha lain paagi na maka connect ko sa among internet connection sa office, isn't it using modem? mag buhat ko og dial-up din kuhaon nako ang username and password sa among internet connection sa office.. or what?

let me see if i got this: you don't have internet access at home but you want to get internet access using ur internet connection from your office?

OFFICE: you need a server with a dial up modem, phone line, and direct internet connection.
HOME: dial up modem and phone line

you just need to setup the software to make it work. (i forgot how to do that, been a while.)

one thing i have to ask is that what is the best solution to network with 200 meters away from my house..
actually i have a internet cafe, with about 200 meters away from my house and i like my home computer to network
and access my internet connection in my internet cafe.

that's about 2 football fields distance, it's not that far.
if it was me, i'd setup a line of sight antenna, like a microwave antenna or something. (hopefully no tall trees or buildings blocking the way) and also if you can get away with it without hassle (city ordinances, etc.)
you can make it yourself, search google for it.
should be an interesting project.

i don't know if cantenna can reach 200 meters. He needs a bigger antenna with a stronger signal because of all the interference encountered with that distance.

thanks bro i let my bro look the situation my internet cafe, akong internet cafe naa sa bungtod then wala sad maka ali even kahoy,
i let my bro estimate he said that its about 100 to 150 meters.
what is the other solution for that bros,,,,
