as my friend once said while downing one mcdo chicken nugget: "tanang ukay ukay, unique. except sa "Be the REDS!"

A little background about the "Be the Reds" shirts.

The "Be the Reds!" phrase was popularized during the 2002 FIFA World Cup by the South Korea team supporters who were known as the Red Devils. It's inception came because the team's jersey color is red. Some of it's practical translation or meaning of the shirts is "We are Red" or "Be Red". Originally, the letter "R" is used to represent number "12" and those who wear "Be the Reds" shirts are usually the 12th player on the ground.

The original design was a brush stroked logo on a red t-shirt but sine there was no existing trademark or copyright thus such logo started to appear in almost everything other than shirts. In late 2003 however, someone tried to trademark the logo and the design which prompted the originator to use a different font in printing the shirts and it didn't sell as hoped. Because of the existing two trademarks, the production of such shirts were stopped and the Korean Football Association changed "Be the Reds" to "Reds Go Together".
