guys, i tested that using a 3rd party vga driver for my radeon 9200se gave me more performance than the original ATI Catalyst. Im currently using Omega 2.6.75a catalyst for ATI cards. I only have 256mb pc3200 on an athlonxp 2200+ rig using asus a7v8xx board.
now, gaming is more fun, can now use stylish black and white pixel shading, and 4x anti-aliasing with anisotrophic filter. I experienced no lagged when playing NFSMW, though loading time is quite slow.
i know now that adding more system memory will give me the chance to use the full capacity of this old card using this driver.
I plan on using this driver and will update on this same driver when needed. but of course, my card is not optimized for overclocking, though i could, dont wanna mess with my vga bios.
u can check out Omega driver at this site:

they have 3rd party modded drivers for both ATI and nVidia based cards.
