Sweeney Todd is based on a Tony-award winning play and the newest Burton version is the only movie musical theatrical version in a very long time. I have not seen any other versions nor saw the play but if you're referring to the 2006 TV non-musical version of Sweeney Todd with Ray Winstone (Beowulf) in the character role -> this is definitely better even just in terms of art direction (which they won an Oscar) plus superb performances and amazing direction. This is probably the most full-blown musical version on film and probably the best of all versions (among the 1926, 1928, 1936, 2006 and 2007 versions).

wala man kaayo ni syay gore...pero bloody lang noon kaayo. kada hiwa ni todd kay mo awas/sirit/pisik ang tag 10 ka galon nga dugo sa iya victim.
