This is a dummy website i've been working for the past two weeks for a proposed alumni website.
Some links are not yet finalized but the whole site is taking shape already.
There could be additional modules and components installed in a few days.

All suggestions are welcome for improvement before we launch this in a few weeks from now under it's own domain.

nice sya bro.. although ang black and white na backdrop(crowd with balloons) behind xa flash animation medjo daku... but depende pud tingali xa screen resolution. nice one!

pixelated ang logo and some of the pics. maybe pwede ni cya maimprove.
I also have a comment on the header. dili cya limpyo. 2 man na ka-parts ang header, right? kanang static photo lang nga grayscale ug ang flash header. wala ni nagtupong silang duha, or gituyo na? makita ang gray nga background.

Overall, nindot cya. did you make it from scratch or naay template?

Template na siya nga akong gi-edit ang header.
Mao ni ang problema:

Wa pa nako masulbad unsaon pagtangtang anang shadow.
Giapil man gud na sa template, naa sa CSS para magfunction as background sa original News item nga akong gipulihan sa banner.
Sa Picture 1, makita nimo nga natangtang nako ang shadow kun tan-awn sa Firefox, pero sa Picture 2 ug 3 sa IE naa gihapon ang shadow bisan pa ug giedit na nako ang CSS para mahimong "none" iyang background.

Ang kanang imong giingon nga wala magtupong, napugos ko ug setup nga ing ana kay tungod sa shadow, kun padak-an nako ang banner to fill up the gray background kan-on sa shadow ang uban nga portion kay mo-grow man sad siya in proportion to the banner.
As you can see sa IE capture, ang shadow nilapas na gani sa ubos unya nakan-an oud ang mga thumbnails sa ibabaw. Sa Firefox mas limpyo. Kun mawala lang nang shadow pwede na nako i-fit sa gray area.

Regarding the quality of the images, kun akong patas-an ang quality modako ang filesize maglisod ug load ang mga members nga dial-up.
Unsaon kaha na siya? Kun GIF mas dako man mao nga JPG 70% quality akong gamit kay kun mosaka pa ko sa 80% more than 10 seconds na i-load ang banner.

bro neugent, ang shadow ang kinahanglan nako tangtangon bro dili ang gray background. Actually, makita nimo sa original template nga ang whole background is the actual header itself, unya ang idea nako is to replace everything in the header with a gray area kun asa to dapit ang matabunan sa animation para makasave ko sa file size. supposed to be its a complete image pero akong gitabunan ug gray para mogamay ang size compared to a full picture.

ang problem is naa sa shadow, kanang shadow nga makita nimo sa IE pictures above nga di nimo makita sa Firefox. Compare the Firefox image and the IE, sa IE maobvserve nimo nga ang mga thumbnails sa taas gikan-an sa shadow.

Thanks, hope you can help me get rid of that shadow.

ahhhh hehehe damn IE!

dara bai wala na sya sa external sa imu CSS, its within d main template file....
try doing a VIEW SOURCE sa imu page dba makita na nimu.....

ako man gi save imu site locally then pag view source naa ra did2 hehehee... remove the lines below....
ako tip nimu is, create a new template from scratch, para mas limpyo hehehe....

PS: ka group nako ang designer/team sa JA ROCHEA na theme ahahahahaha (wenk dakpan....)
pero oks ra... modify lang mga names bai kay murag di licensed imu copy... hehehe.....
