lol^^ for me, its not actually a virus but rather a visual basic script coupled with instruction file, its only a script in the registry to embed on the shell on windows. though antiviral programs recognize it as a virus so then it is.

anyway, its a variant of the well known pooh.vbs and is a family of Imgkulot.


to remove:

open task manager and kill the process "Wscript.exe" or any similar
go to folder options
blacken the "show hidden files and folders"
uncheck "hide protected operating system files"
go to the infected drive and delete any autorun.inf file
next is open regedit (do this at your own risk)
press on your keyboard "ctrl+f" to pop up the finder feature of the regedit
type "bungoton" and search for it
on the right payne after search, youll notice a string value in which the term "bungoton" is visible, usually along with windows shell
modify the string value and remove "only" the term "bungoton", and not all line to prevent consequences
repeat the search and removal many times until the finder feature can search no more.

restart the pc and pray that chipmunk888 didnt forget anything.
