Has anybody tried eating at Tin Gow (Waterfront Lahug) and Chings Palace? Any comments on these two restaurants would be highly appreciated.

Vaq,
There are variation from both restaurants and what it comes down to is your taste preferrence. I personally like Tin Gow, theyre influence in cooking has a bit of fusion in it but still hold true chinese cooking, ie Love the seafood hot pot with house tofu (it is to die for), prawn salad, soups, meat dishes and noodles.
I thought Ching palace was good too, tasting ching its your typical chinese restaurant but hold true their dishes as well.
Personally if you like to go out of your usual chinese menu I suggest Tin Gow, its a bit pricey but worth a try![]()

chinnnnnggggg palace
I've been to Tingow. Their Pancit Canton is yummy.
Chef Low is wicked.
i agree with KE-25. between the 2, i'd go for tin gow. with all honesty. i find ching's waste of money. wa ko nalingaw, i expected much more for their price. nothing special imo.
for my cravings, i go directly to grand convention. you'll never go wrong there..
nausab ang templa sa ching palace, sa tingow wala pa ko ka taste
I don't know. I tried Tin Gow once before and didn't really like it. Maybe it was just "one" of those days. So I prefer Ching Palace. Maybe soon I'll try Tin Gow again.
