ok lang sya gamiton from time-to-time(HDD) pang backup but not your primary storage...kargado sa enclosures poor ang ventilation/heat dissipation...remember that heat is the no.1 cause sa degradation sa hdisk.kanang mga optical drives so far mao man(external) ako gamit...wala ra ko problems.

nindot ang external enclosure..in almost all aspect..

cons lang kay..

if hasolan ug dala ug murag kaha sa sigarilyo or murag kaha sa VHS tapes.. di gyud ka ganahan ug external enclosure..

but in my opinion..

if mu adto ka sa ko clients..payter kau..

kay mag dala ra ko ug 2pc xp sp2 registered copy and the external enclosure..

human...naa tanan kinahanglanon..mp3.games.apps.movies.ug p. sud sa enclosure..

much lighter compared to equivalent GB volume in dvd.

maau na bay kung laagan ka, coz you can bring ur files with you especially mga dako nga files... pero for your own safety u better use branded enclosure kay bsin baratohon ang imo like cd r king, nah maguba unya maamong ang imo hard disk,,,,

dire sa abroad, puro na external HD ang gamit, naa tuod mugamit flash disks but tag 4-8 Gb na.

ok kaayu especially for entertainment addicts like movies, mp3's and games. not to mention work documents and other confidentialities. naa naman gani ta'g 500Gb for 4,500 petot lang dire sa Singapore.
