How To Help Dissipate Religious Bigotry and End Conflicts

This is not a debate thread...this is not about whose religion is right or wrong. And DEFINITELY NOT a venue to display your Scriptural or Theological prowess.

Post your ideas as to how we can agree even we disagree with one another in terms of faith. Again no debate please.

Let me start. We can agree with one another if we just only learn to understand that we are not all the same. That our difference in faith is part of the whole process to understanding God and that in God's perfect time man will eventually come to terms with one another despite their many differences or concepts of a god or God.

That we need to be tolerant of another's religion. Tolerance is a form respect we owe to one another for us to peacefully coexist even if we worship God in different names.

Religious tolerance does not require you to accept other religions as true.

Religious tolerance does not mean that you cannot compare one religion with another, or compare religion with a secular belief system, or analyze the scientific claims of a religion.

Religious tolerance does not necessarily mean religious indifference.

We feel that the world would be a much better place in which to live if everyone were religiously tolerant. Civil unrest, mass murder, and genocide would be greatly reduced. However, tolerance is only the first step towards actively enjoying the diversity that other faith groups contribute to a society. sometimes i feel/sense why these congregations bash each other is because of the supply of consumers....each consumer has a $$ equivalent...but maybe i'm wrong, maybe.

Seriously -- they can. I mean we can speak our truth out without hurting or being condemning. And when people don't listen we can shut up and move on.
