    Default Questions w/ having 2 DSL lines(updated)

    Im currently a Globe DSL user. Ok ra ang Globe but naay times nga maputol lang kalit and either dugay mo connect or down jud for a while ang connection. Sadly, di ni pde for my situation kay I will lose $$$$ while playing poker tournaments online(small time sa karon). So Im planning to get PLDT DSL as well.

    Pwede ba ma set nako ang computer na if madisconnect ang globe, I can just connect to PLDT immediately?
    I dont mind disconnecting globe and connecting to PLDT with just a click of my mouse or kinahanglanon jud tangtangon nko ang network wire/modem sa globe nya ikabit nko ang sa PLDT nga modem before maka connect?

    My last post:

    murag ready nako mo sugod ani. just a few clarifications,

    ingani ba ang setup ani...

    PLDT--->PLDT modem ----> LAN card 1
    Globe---> Globe modem -->Lan card 2

    and apply the settings below

    try using two routers then connect this router to your switch...

    the first router could be using globe configure the ip let say 192.168.0.106
    the second router will be your pldt configure the ip let say 192.168.0.107

    in your pc take note of your gateway, if you are using globe your gateway will be 192.168.0.106 when globe is down all you have to do is change the gate way to 192.168.0.107 without necessarily pulling the cables out.

    hope it helps

    buy a dual wan router. @ our ofis we are using a d-link dual wan router and configure the other line as backup that way when the line goes down the other line automatially takes over so you're always connected to the internet unless both line goes down. :mrgreen:
